Under 30 mph winds and pouring rain, Rubicon rode strong as a team. Logan and Brad set tempo up the climb making sure Aaron was always at the front of the race. Richard has bad luck 5 laps into the race and had to retire. Aaron attacked and was in a break, the group didn't work well together and was brought back. The field shatter, regrouped, shattered again due to the heavy winds, but in the end, with one rider off the front, Aaron rode away from the field with 5 other riders, attacked on the climb and dropped one. Aaron took 5th overall.
Dan attacked what was left of the field on the final climb and solo in for 10th. Matt and Kirk took 1st and 2nd in the field sprint placing 18th and 19th. Matt also won the best young rider jersey.
David was very proud of the team and how well they rode together as a team.
