Carson made it on to the velonews website this weekend for a gritty performance that netted him 6th in the 2009 Boulevard Road Race. The Boulevard Road Race is in San Diego, but on the morning of Carson's race, it was snowing! Good thing the kid is from Bend, Oregon and he's use to the wet and cold. Carson managed to ride up to the break with four other riders and held on for 6th.
